Kevin and Heather met through playing hockey, so why not secure the relationship with a unique wedding on the ice, then by playing in a "Friendship Tournament" with many of their hockey friends from the USA and Canada?
The wedding will be held on Saturday May 19th, 2007 at the Iceland Sports Complex in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The dress is very casual. Anything from jeans and sweaters to hockey jerseys (encouraged!) are welcome, just remember that the ice rink is VERY cold, so bring a heavy jacket if you are going to watch the hockey game in the bleachers. Limited viewing of the game will also be available upstairs at Angelina's Cafe, but hurry because seating is only available along one wall of the cafe!
The ice time has been reserved from 2-4pm, with the wedding beginning at approximately 2:30pm. The subsequent hockey game will begin as soon as the wedding party has left the ice to go change into hockey gear.
The reception will be held from 4-7pm in Angelina's Cafe, located upstairs in the Iceland Sports Complex, complete with buffet style gourmet pizza, meatballs, finger foods, etc. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served as well.
During the reception, the Gotcha Bocce courts will be available for our use, and the owner will be on hand to show anyone how to play this ancient game!
