On May 26th, exactly one week after we take our vows, we will be departing for 7 nights on Oahu island, Hawaii. This means that we will unfortunately be missing our annual trip up to Waterloo, Ontario for the 2nd leg of the Can/Am Friendship Hockey Tournament, but we will be there next year! We are staying at the famous 5 Star Kahala Hotel Resort and Spa, which is located 10 miles from Waikiki Beach, near Diamond Head. They have many ammenities, including several restaurants, private beach, a fabulous pool, activities, and their own private lagoon with trained dolphins! Here is the link to the hotel: Kahala Resort We plan to participate in several activities, including a Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center, a bicycle tour, shopping, swimming with the Hotel's dolphins, visit Pearl Harbor, and possibly snorkeling, along with the usual beach lounging. This will truly be the vacation of a lifetime! |
